INTRODUCTION:

The annual report showcases the achievements and glories of our school. Undoubtedly, but also makes us think deeply about our shortcomings. We have always been committed to create environment in our school which helps the young minds to blossom and provide a platform for individual thinking and holistic development of every child’ personality. Excellence in academics is the Hallmark of any good Institution and class 10th and 12th results of the school prove without any doubt that our students have made us proud. Sports competitions inculcate the spirit of positive challenges and sportsmanship among the students and prepare them for the life ahead. Sports, games and physical fitness occupy a place of importance in our curriculum. Our students actively participated in different competitions and won medals, certificate and trophies.

ACADEMICS:

We are proud to report that 2018-19 batch of X & XII standard. Students have brought laurels to the school by their excellent results. We achieved 100% percent result in class 10th board examination held in March 2018-19. We also are proud to report that class twelfth Board result held in March 2019 achieved 95% pass. This was possible because of continuous efforts by the dedicated staff and by taking extra classes and other remedial measures to improve them.

SPORTS & GAMES:

The school has always been taking initiatives to get the best talent in the sports Arena, sports activities on the weekends where the school has tied up with professional courses at Inter School & District level in athletics, volleyball & football to coach children. The Sports program helps us in identifying talent in particular sports and give more exposure to the students. Some of the achievements are:

  • Inter School Competitions held at various schools organized by NPSA (National Progressive School Association – Local organisation of CBSE Board School) and our students achieved gold, silver & bronze medals in various athletics.
  • Participated in Inter School Competition Kho Kho, Discus Throw, Javlin throw and various races held at Dr. MPS School.
  • Participated in Inter School Competition Kabaddi held at Shivalik Public School.
  • Participated in Inter School Competition Short put & Long Jump held at St. Marks Public School.
  • Annual Sports day was held in the school with full zeal and enthusiasm and all the students of the school participated it it.

Enrichment Programmes for Students & Teachers:-

Workshops and seminar encourage new ideas and facilitate in seminar encourage new ideas in facilitate, innovation, experimentation, knowledge, skills and personality development. A number of enrichment programmes for students and teachers were organized.

A- Students attended workshops on:-
  • Health issues in which expert Doctors guided and cleared the doubts of the students about the maintenance of their health.
  • Enlightening about careers and career counselling sessions were organised, how the face and solve the board exam paper and overcome examination stress organised by educational experts for class 10th in class 12th students at Hindustan College, Mathura.

  • Teacher's Workshop of Children's Science Congress – held at MD Jain Inter College Agra

Honour Ceremony:-

In May Honour ceremony was organized in school campus to acknowledge the performance of the toppers of X & XII board examination. The Chairman, Principal, Chief Controller Administrator & Academic Controller and the students were honoured in the assembly before the whole school. The ceremony commenced with the lightening of the lamp. The students presented play and dances. In the prize distribution ceremony the toppers of class X & XII securing above 80% or 90% marks were felicitated. The students were honoured on the stage and were given certificates.

Annual Sports Day was organized on 30th December. Chief guest Mr. Rhythm Garg, the India’s New Iron Man graced the programme with his auspicious presence. The Sports day programme was held with a great success and the parents were very happy with the programme.

Picnic and Excursions: -

The school has organized one day picnic programmes for the students.

The students of class Nur to II were taken to Shahjahan Garden on Children’s day.

The students of class III to VII were taken to an education trip at Agra fort on Children’s day.

The students of class VIII to XII were taken for Delhi & Jaipur trip.

Medical Check-up:-

The school organized for dental check up camp conducted by Dr. Divyank Bansal, Agra. A free mega health check up camp was also organized in which around 30 doctors of Agra participated and about 600 people were checked up. Camp for Rubella vaccination was also conducted successfully by the Government officials.

Workshop For Students:-

Career choices are the utmost importance for any child. To enlighten children about careers, a number of career counselling sessions are organized in the school. The students of class XI & XII were told about how to face and solve the board exam paper and workshop on career counselling was organized by Sachdeva Institute of Technology and Prayaas (GLA University). The students were also awarded with mobile, water bottle and bags by the respective institution and self-career option assessment was taken for each student to knowhow their position in future career.

PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES:

  • 1. Sharing highlights of school events for the academic year.
  • 2. Discussions about the Pre-Board examination & PT-III.
  • 3. RTE implication on the (Picnic/Excursion) Fees.
  • 4. Discuss about the rules regarding I-Cards and Teacher’s Day celebration Planning.
  • 5. Connect for respect discussion on anti-bullying.
  • 6. Discussion on Healthy Lifestyles of children

SMC Decisions:-

  • Meeting held for important decision regarding fees. This year 5% fees increased by the committee for more welfare of the students and investment in school.
  • SMC took the decision regarding punishment, abusing & fee defaulters.
  • Another important decision was taken by SMC to inculcate the habit of saving for future and giving them knowledge for future.
